Perfect smokey eye in 8 Steps!

Perfect smokey eye in 8 Steps!

When you think of smokey eyes makeup, one thing stands out. They are definitely a signature power move.Try some smokey eyes, and everyone will look at you as emancipated,  powerful, strong, and a woman with her own personality and opinion. What woman does not want to exude a sense of power? But let’s be fair, getting the right smokey eye makeup is not easy.Hopefully, we can help you get your signature go-to makeup move.

Here's eight easy steps for achieving a perfectly smoky finish.

Step 1: Prime Your Eyes

To keep your shadow from budging, gently pat some primer over your lids  and under your eyes to ensure your makeup stays put past last call.Eye shadow primer is applied  on the eyelids to make shadows and eyeliner go on smoother and last longer. It serves as a double-sided tape of sorts that grips to both  your lid and your eye makeup, ensuring your artfully applied shadow  doesn’t budge. You can also use it to help enhance your makeup hues and  make them look even brighter.

Step 2: Pat On Concealer

When you're going for an overall smoky look, dark circles tend to kill  the sexiness of a smoky eye (you could end up looking bruised versus  vampy). To neutralize any shadows under your eyes, blend a creamy  concealer  atop your under-eye area using your ring finger.

Step 3: Powder Your Under-Eye Area

Step 4: Swipe On A Dark Shadow

Sweep the darkest shadow from the palette of your choice from your  lashes to the crease of your eye. Then, use a small, angled brush to  apply the shadow along your lower lash line. The best part, which you  should already know: Your smoky shade doesn't have to be black. Instead,  try gray, navy, shimmery brown, plum, or forest green, which will all  add a sexy element of surprise to your look.

Step 5: Smudge It Out

A smoky eye shouldn't have any harsh lines; it should be softly blended  at the edges. Gently using a Q-tip or a smudger brush, lightly buff the  shadow into the crease of your eye, using a windshield wiper-like  motion, and then work the same hue into your bottom lash line as well.

Step 6: Define Your Eyes

Now that your color is in place, define your eye with a creamy black,  waterproof eye pencil. To do so, drag it along your top and bottom lash  lines, making sure there's no skin peeking through between your lashes.  For an extra-sultry effect, line your inner bottom lash line.

Step 7: Highlight

To open up your eye area amidst all the dark, smoky shadow (and add a  twinkly radiance), blend a shimmery highlighter along your brow bone and  over the inner "V" corner of eyes. If you have fair to medium skin, try  a pearl hue; darker complexions look vampy in Champagne shades.

Step 8: Coat Your Lashes With Mascara

No smoky eye is complete without lush, long, thick, bat-worthy lashes!  Create an out-to-there effect with this squeezable mascara tube that  allows you to control how much product you load onto the brush head for  the ultimate application.
